Driveway Dreamz Rental Car Policy

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old to rent a vehicle.

  • Valid driver’s license required (must be held for at least one year).

     

2. Rental Period

  • The minimum rental period is 3 days.

  • Rentals can be extended upon request, subject to availability. You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if an extension is needed and payment will be required within 24 hours prior to return date for the additional time needed.

  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Vehicle Use

  • Subleasing or renting the vehicle to another party is strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle.

  • Pets are permitted only if properly secured in a pet carrier.

  • If vehicle is returned in a poor state additional charges may incur in addition to losing the initial deposit

4. Insurance Options

  • Basic liability insurance is included in the rental fee.

  • Renters are encouraged to review their personal auto insurance policy for coverage details.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank.

  • Fuel charges will apply if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank.

6. Payment and Deposits

  • A security deposit will be held at the time of rental.

  • All rental fees are due at the time of pickup.

  • Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash, major credit cards and debit cards (additional fees and security checks will apply to credit and debit card transactions)

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the rental period may incur a cancellation fee.

8. Roadside Assistance

  • 24/7 roadside assistance is available for all rentals.

9. Damage Policy

  • All vehicles are inspected before and after rental periods.

  • Any damage must be reported immediately to Driveway Dreamz.

  • Renter is responsible for any damages not covered by insurance.

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

  • By signing the rental agreement, the renter acknowledges understanding and acceptance of the terms outlined in this policy. A rental agreement contract will be presented upon pick up and will need to be filled out, a valid drivers license is also required and will need to be presented and photographed upon pick up along with the rate+deposit. Deposits can range between $150-$200 with most being $200.
